  There's a big difference between country and just flat out white trash. That line has been blurred so much in about the past 20 or so years and this place is just another example. Between my upbringing and military service, I've lived in places way more remote and rugged than this area of CO, but it was never used as an excuse to be rude, unwelcoming and just plain old dirty.

  Not friendly at all. Don't expect to use electricity in the "electric" spot. Here is what they posted while we were there. My 87 year old grandpa needed a heater to stay warm in the tent but I guess they didn't care, we did it anyway.

  First Off I'm one of the owners
  Rules are Rules your break them I enforce them, with out them people would run wild, damage cabins,and cause problems for the ones who
  understand and have respect for someone's property, we have all stayed some place when someone was breaking the rules or being disrespectful to others around them most of us have wished someone would do something about it, Here at Pleasant Valley we do something about it . In the end we do not miss the folks who posted the negative reviews and in fact it has only made it better for the one's who have respect,
  And yes we are located 25 miles from town in the valley so cell phone service is not available to most and our internet is over priced but it is the best we have available to us when something faster becomes a option we will get it
  Thank you all for reading reviews and even considering us stop in for good coffee and Pie and get the inside scoop on things to do in the area , Even if your not staying with us
